About Me

I am a gatherer! Whether it is in my home for girlfriend’s night, family dinner, or bringing people together through shared experiences, I enjoy the wonderfulness of community. Everyone wants to belong somewhere. I wanted to have a “virtual home” that would allow people to connect with me, but also to be able to enrich their lives as well. It is my prayer that you find meaningful content here to help you in your Christian walk and as you pursue your dreams and purpose.
Here is a little more about me…
Elizabeth Ann Havner
Who I am:
I am an author, an ordained minister, and the proud mother of two amazing young adults. I am currently living my best life in Las Vegas Nevada, pursuing my dreams and purpose with a great big God!
What I do:
I have a personal mission statement, but it really is just my life intention. That intention is: To be the kind of person that your life is better for knowing me, and not worse. I am purposefully trying to make other people’s lives better.
My Ministry Background:
I accepted my call to ministry in 1995. I received my first ministerial license in 1996 from Aenon Bible College of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, and was ordained through the Greater Grace Worship Center School of Ministry in 2003. I have served in several capacities in my local churches, retreats, and conferences.
The Lord God hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned.

My Writing Experience:
I began writing an online devotional in 1999. It started out with just sharing words of encouragement with my friends and co-workers. That little devotional made its way to other countries. I wrote that until 2007.
Take Command of Your Day, Messages of Hope (Elizabeth House) is a collection of devotional readings. While I am still a little embarrassed about the fact that it was published with errors, it was my beginning as a published author and that part I am proud of. So if you happen to read it, or have read it, be a little gracious about my small beginning. ☺
Hey Girl Hey, You ARE a Gift WITH a Gift, was my second published book. Written with the heart of women in mind, it is the fruit of enduring my own challenges as a woman. Women empowering women! I love that stuff.
As I continue with my writing journey, I believe that as the Holy Spirit empowers me, those words will bring healing to the hearts of the readers.
Thank you for reading my words.
