Girl, You Can Do Anything!

Uncategorized

10 Feb

This post is for all of my sister girls! To the ladies who are cheerleaders and encouragers for everyone else. To the queens who have BIG BIG BIG dreams and desires. To the women who wake up on some days feeling like they can conquer the world, and on other days can’t even decide what to eat for dinner.

God created us with anointed glitter in our veins!

I like the sound of that! In my mind that Proverbs 31 virtue included a little glitter. Ok, it might not be actual glitter, but it is His power working with our beautiful creative genius. There are things God has purposed for us to do in partnership with Him. I think as Christian women, or just women in general, we tend to be the cheerleaders and supporters of everyone else. It seems like we can have a fresh cup of encouragement for other people while not always feeling as confident about our projects. This may not be true of everyone, but I know real women who face this.

Be Your Own Cheerleader

I am learning how to encourage myself daily because the enemy fights me daily. For me, that begins with canceling any lie that the enemy presents to me. Lies that are usually intended to create doubt and fear. Those lies will try to tell me I can’t, I won’t, or that I am not good enough. Since he is the father of lies, I can conclude that the truth is that I CAN, I WILL, AND I AM MORE THAN ENOUGH. So are you!

Beyond that, I can find over and over in the word of God, where God reminds me that it is His will that I prosper. Inside that one word prosper, is the potential for growth, productivity, accomplishment, and all areas of a thriving life.

Don’t Play it Safe This Year

At the beginning of this year, I was sitting at my vanity, getting ready for the day, and God whispered this little message into my spirit. “Don’t play it safe this year.” I knew exactly what that nudge meant for my life.

I want to share that concept with you as well. If your default setting is safe, I pray that you will dare to believe BIGGER for your life this year. I don’t think that message implied to be reckless, but to be audacious!

What thing big or small, would you step out of your comfort zone to attempt or complete if you thought it would be an EPIC success? I would like to challenge you that faith doesn’t have any guarantees for success. Obedience, however, to the prompting of God always has the surety of God being on your side no matter what happens. God is responsible for the outcome, and we are responsible for obedience.

 Sister Girl!

YOU CAN DO ANYTHING!!!

Take these words personally, and insert yourself into these verses.

  • I (Liz) can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. (Philippians 4:13)
  • For as he (Liz) thinketh in his heart so is he: (Proverbs 23:7 excerpt)
  • Commit to the Lord whatever you do (Liz), and he will establish your plans. (Proverbs 16:3)
  • Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman (Liz) who fears the Lord is to be praised. Honor her for all that her (Liz’s) hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate. (Proverbs 31:30-31)
